This privacy policy has been compiled by A.H. Photography, LLC (“A.H. Photography”) to better serve those who are concerned with how their ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) is being used online. PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our website.

1.1 Here at ah.photography we are dedicated to protecting the privacy of each and every one of our customers. We will not disclose any information regarding our customers or visitors to the site to any third parties apart from where it is part of providing a service to you – this includes; arranging for a product to be sent to you, arranging for a service to be carried out, carrying out credit and other security checks and for the purposes of customer research or when you have given us your permission to do so.

1.2 CONSENT – A.H. Photography will not provide, sell, or trade any of your personal details, PII, or any credit card information to third parties (excluding partners from whom you may have linked to our site) without your permission. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when it’s release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Third-party links – Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

1.3 COMMUNICATION & MARKETING – If you have made a purchase of service from the website we may occasionally update you on our latest services and offers via e-mail. You will also be given the opportunity to receive such communications from us and selected third parties when you become a member of ah.photography. All A.H. Photography members have the option to unsubscribe from marketing communications from us. If you do not wish to continue to receive e-mails from us and/or selected third parties, you should opt-out by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in any emails which we might send you. This will then suspend your e-mail notifications however you can sign up again if you wish to do so. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. We will do our best to protect your personal data, but cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

1.4 CHECKING YOUR DETAILS – If you wish to verify the details you have submitted to ah.photography, you may do so by contacting us via the e-mail address or address given below. Our security procedures mean that we may request proof of identity before we reveal information. This proof of identity will take the form of your e-mail address and password submitted upon registration. You must therefore keep this information safe as you will be responsible for any action which we take in response to a request from someone using your e-mail and password. We recommend that you do not use your browser’s password memory function as this may result in someone accessing your personal information.

REGISTRATION

PII is gathered by ah.photography during the order check out process, when you subscribe to a newsletter, provide us with feedback on our products/services, or enter information on our site. During the check out process, your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, and payment information is collected. You also have the option to create your own account to store this personal information, at which time a username and password will be collected as well. In order to view the information in the My Account section of the site you must first log in using your username and password.

SECURITY

The security of your personal information is very important to us. You can be assured that all sensitive information will be handled with discretion. Your personal information is maintained through secure networks and is only accessible by a limited number of people who have been granted access rights and are required to keep the information confidential. Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible. We use regular malware scanning often to ensure the safety and integrity of our site. In spite of the efforts made by ah.photography, no transmission of data over the Internet is guaranteed to be completely secure and such transmission is at your own risk.

California Online Privacy Protection Act – CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. According to CalOPPA, we agree to the following: Users can visit our site anonymously. Once this privacy policy is created, we will add a link to it on our home page or as a minimum, on the first significant page after entering our website. Our Privacy Policy link includes the word ‘Privacy’ and can be easily be found on the page specified above. You will be notified of any Privacy Policy changes via our Privacy Policy page with an updated date. You can change your personal information by emailing us, calling us, or by logging into your account

COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act) – When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, United States’ consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children’s privacy and safety online. We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.

COOKIES

Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer’s hard drive and may be used by ah.photography to enhance your browsing and shopping experience. This is done as a means to keep track of your current shopping session by speeding up the browsing experience and website performance.
